Hospital -Quert-

Bert sighed and looked at hi feet.

Jeh hesitated after that "Well, er, we're going to sneak out tonight, get the bus as far as we can and then find a job and shit, maybe get some jeans or something so we're nto easily recognised..."

"okay.... so when exactly are we leaving?" quinn couldnt wait to finally get out of there. He opened the door again "BERT!your escaping with us tonight."

Bert looked up, blinking at Quinn with wide eyes.
"We're-we're what?" he stammered.

Jeoh just grinned and bounced on the balls of his feet.

"escaping.leaving. getting teh fuck out of here. understand?"

Bert stared at them, running a hand through his hair.
"You're insane, you're all insane"

"Yes we know. Now are you coming or not?" Dan said to bert in an angry tone "I'd be happy enough to just leave you here to rot"

Bert gloweed , squaring up the taller boy "I don't like your tone Whitesides" he spat. He breathed out heavily, trying to calm himself down.
"Of course I'm coming"

Dan stayed calm and brought his head down to Berts level "If you say anything or do anything at all to jeph, i will fucking break your neck before your midget body gets the chance to run" He whispered so only Bert could hear.

Standing up straight and grinning,Dan exclaimed "SO! i guess we should work out how were even going to get out without getting caught?"

Bert just glowered at Dan, deciding to ignore the threat.

Jeph grinned "I already have an idea! While they do lock in we ake sure we're outside, so they've locked our rooms and they're convinced we're inside. then we sneak out of the gates at the back round by the bin and get the greyhound bus!"

"have you guys seriously lost your minds? they will look for us and most likely find us pretty quickly!" Quinn almost whispered, in fear that one of the nurses would hear.

"If we get out of Utah we're not their problem anymore" said Bert, with a tone of authority to his voice "FUck, if we get out of Orem they probably won't try very hard."

Quinn raised an eyebrow at Bert "Well.... i guess youre right. We should get outside pretty soon, before they lock the doors"

Jeph grinned, bouncing with excitement "Come on then!" ge grinned, Fragging Dan with him.

Quinn looked at bert, who still looked sort of sceptical about the whole idea. "come ON Bert!" quinn quickly kissed bert before grabbing his arm an running down the hall after dan adn jeph.

At about 10PM the doors were locked, leaving them all outside.

Jeph grinend at the others "Come on!"

"where the fuck are we even going?!" quinn shouted at jeph and dan, who were way ahead by now.

Jeph stopped, he hadnt thought of that "Uh, we, er-"

"bus stop." dan exclaimed like it was the most obvious thing in the world " we need to get as far as possible. fast"

"What he said!" areed Jeph, clinging to Dans hand.

"so um" dan stopped walking and looked back at at quinn and bert "does anyone happen to actually have any money? buses kind of cost...."

Jeph shoved his hand into his pocket and pulled out a fistful of crumpled notes "Uh, I have" he counted for a second "About twenty bucks" he aid.

Quinn shrugged "it will get us somewhere i guess, thats good enough for me" He grabbed berts hand and headed for the 24 hour supermarket at the end of the street "hungry." he shouted back at a confused dan.

Bert chewed his lip, looking around at the various food stuffs in almost fear. As if merely looking at foo could cause weight gain.

Jeph shivered slightly, cudling up to Dan "I's cold tonight"

Dan quickly put his jacket on jeph, and picked up his tiny body in a bear hug. "better?" he whispered





"bert...." quinn held out a bag of chips "please eat. for me?" he was clearly fighting back tears.

Jeh smiled, burying his face in Dans shoulder "Much, but you'll get sick!"

Bert bit his lip ahrd "Quinn, I-I can't"
