Jeph giggled into Dans hair, excitement clear across his featuyres "i love you"

Bert walked near to the back with Quinn, sliding himself into a seat that DIDNT stink of piss.

quinn sat next to bert and rested his head on his shoulder.

"any idea where we're actually going? or is it just a lucky dip...."

Betr buried his face in Quinns hair "You heard Jepoh, end of the line. You can tell he's not been out in four years though."

Jeph was practically bouncing in his eeat, staring out of the window.

Dan just giggled at how adorable jeph was being. "im so suprised were finally out of there....." he whispered into jephs hoodie, still unsure why they had never done it before

"I know!" beamed Jeph, he looked at Dan, still with a grin plastered across his face "Thank you"

Quinn shrunk further into his hoodie and closer to bert. "bert?....." assuming bert was asleep, he just said everything he was thinking
" please dont hate me when i leave.... please, just keep on living without me, you deserve so much better"

quinn was fighting back tears at this point "its the only thing i dare ask of you..... please"

Bert didn't have the strength or energy to respond. he merely closed his eyes and let the tears slip down his face.
I could never live without you...

They must have all fallen asleep as the next thing dan heard was the elderly bus driver screaming at them "end of the line!!" he was clearly not amused.

"guys come one we have to go" he shook the others awake,immediatly noticing the tear marks on berts cheek.

Bert sat up and wiped his face, forcing a smile "Lets go then" he said, gripping Quinns hand like letting go would kill him.

quinn could tell berts smile was obviously fake, but ignored it.

"yeah, lets go.... wherever we happen to be going"

Jeph didn't notice anything, just pretty muich skipped off the bus and then stoped, looking uncertain about where tio head.

Dan stepped off the bus,suddenly realising as he looked aroud at the others that they had no idea where they were, with absolutley no money.

Jeph swallowed "We should find somewhere to stay overnight"

"um yeah..." quinn looked around nervously,they really hadnt thought this through. He grabbed berts hand again and carried on walking.

Jeph eventually stopped by a multi-storey car-park "This'll keep us dry" he decided aloud, walking in.

"great idea...." quinn muttered under his breath, but followed jeph anyway.

Bert looked uncertain but followed.

Jeph mad ea bed olut of his bag and hoodie then ppulled his journal out, starting to scribble away.

Dan creeped up behind jeph to try and catch a look at what he was writing. "what you doing..?" he said like a curious 5 year old.

Jeph closed it immediatly "Nothing, i just- Where's Bert"

"shit." dan muttered "quiin where did bert go?!"

quinn snapped his head up and looked around "hes-oh shit where is he. BERT!"

quinn screamed, echoing through the building

When there was no reply Jeph jumped to his feet "Right, Dan you seasrch upwards, me and Quinn'll go down"

quinn followed jeph downstairs,but still very loudy complained "yeah! because its so likely hes going to go down!"

dan tried to stop shaking with nerves and made his way up the flights of stairs.

unsuprisingly, the first thing he saw was bert balancing on the edge of the building looking like he was about to fall any second.

the only thing he could bring himself to do was scream "BERT!"

Bert glanced back at him before turning his eyes back to the road. He was sat on the very edge, legs dangling over as he watched the city lights below him.
"What do you want Dan?"

Dan sat on the edge next to bert

"dont do this..... youll hurt quinn so much and. y-you just fucking cant!" dan could barely talk through his tears

"He's gping to do it" bert whispered, his voice almost lost on the wind "I won't live a seconbd without him, he's the only person who's ever looked at me and truly seemed to think that I'm worth something, I've spent my whole life thinking that I'm fat and ugly and worthless and I cvan't face it without him"
